Jayanti village is one of the oldest town of dooars region but in present time you cannot see the town but Instead what you see is a decaying village within a vibrant ecology. Nature has thrived here, the forest is green and the wildlife is aplenty. Although in the deep jungle sighting is not very common. Actually Mohanchura Home stay is combination of two buildings Mohanchura & Krishnachura both building are Identical. It has three double bedrooms at top floor and three double bedrooms at Ground Floor in each building. All the rooms are clean and spacious, with an attached balcony, bathroom and geyser. They can arrange a Bonfire which will cost 700 including Chicken, wood and marination.
This is a great Home stay at Jayanti. The view is great.Often at night herd of elephants come out in the river valley.The resort do have attached kitchen.Food is nice. No air conditioning system .Yet a beautiful place to stay for a few days.. especially for Nature lovers.
